SECURITY AND SANITARY RESTRICTIONS WHEN YOU GET TO THE AUCTION

1. Put your mask or face cover on – face coverings are mandatory both inside and outside the building.

2. Disinfect hands as you walk in the building. Hand sanitizers are available at the point of entry.

3. Temperature check will be conducted upon arrival at the auction. Anyone with a temperature above 38° will be denied access to the sale.

4. Carefully follow the information indicating the entrance and exit of the auction lanes.

5. Carefully follow the building’s safety guidelines.

•    No handshakes or physical contact.

•    Always keep 6 feet apart

•    Always wear a mask or face covering

6. No food or beverages will be available on site other than bottled water.

 

BIDDER BADGE & RUN LIST PROCESS

Following your registration, your bid badge will be pre-printed to limit contact as much as possible and will be available at the Front Office upon your arrival. Please be sure to respect the social distancing guidelines - only 1 person at a time at the counter will be allowed.

  • Run lists are available on Manheim.ca website. Please, note that there will not be any printed copies available.

 

REASONS FOR NOT ATTENDING THE AUCTION

Customers should NOT attend the auction in person, if they are feeling unwell or experiencing any kind of the following symptoms:

•    Cough

•    Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

•    Fever (check temperature before departing)

•    Muscle pain or sore throat

•    Loss of taste or smell

•    Chills

 

VIEWING & PICK-UP PROCEDURE

  • Vehicles viewing will be allowed prior to sale day by online appointment only.
  • To request viewing, please email man-torontofrontoffice@manheim.com and refer to the below schedule:

  • Thursday 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM EST

  • Pick Up/Security Drop Off 24/7

  • After confirming your appointment, you will need to check in with Security, acknowledge the requirement to wear a mask and gloves while previewing and follow the below guidelines:
  • Complete temperature check
  • Complete COVID screening
  • During the auction, customers will NOT be allowed to touch the cars, open the doors/enter the vehicle while these are driven by our employees. Doors will remain locked, and windows rolled up.
  • Once the preview session is over, the yard will be closed.
  • The main gate will remain open until 9:30 pm EST. Paid vehicles will be brought to the gate upon request if there is a need to remove it during the evening.
  • Vehicles will be disinfected for sale day driving. Sold vehicles that are paid for will be available at the west gate for removal during normal gate hours.
